Polytec France, a subsidiary of the Polytec Group: manufacturer and distributor of optical measurement solutions, is now offering the VS20 family of Colloidal-Quantum-Dot (CQD) Vis-SWIR (400-2000 nm) cameras from Emberion.
The Emberion VS20 family of Colloidal Quantum Dot (CQD) based cameras deliver the benefits of advanced Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) imaging technology to a broad range of customers working in the fields of machine vision, material sorting, medical inspection/analytics, horticulture, automotive, consumer, surveillance and defence. Combining these cameras with the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) software, broad spectrum lenses and LED lighting solutions creates limitless possibilities for advanced, high-speed machine vision systems.
The VS20 is offered today in 4 different camera formats: VS20-CL, VS20-GigE, VS20-Compact and the VS20-Core. All cameras are VGA resolution, offer a very high dynamic range of 120 dB and are low noise. Except for the VS20-CL (Camera-Link interface) all other versions operate at up to 400 fps as standard. This can be further increased to 1600 fps by using ¼ VGA resolution. Cameras are available for delivery with a 6-8 weeks leadtime. Pricing is very competitive.
