Can you see through grenade smoke?
Emberion has demonstrated how SWIR camera is able to penetrate grenade smoke using both SWIR & e-SWIR cameras. Using appropriate filters one can see through smoke very well.
Please check the video out where we had a great day out filming live videos using our Emberion Cameras. The soldier is completely invisible with the visible imager while our SWIR cameras could see through very well through the thick cloud of smoke. Whether its white-smoke to compuflage or orange smoke to used for signalling,m tracking position and co-ordinating movements. In military In military and tactical operations, orange smoke signals provide a reliable means of communication in situations where electronic devices may not be practical or secure. The counter see through granade smoke can provide tactical advantage in various situational awareness.
